Oceanbridge Beach Clean Up's

Keeping our beaches clean

Together with Oceanbridge we intend to treasure our beaches so that we can continue to enjoy what they offer us. Oceanbridge are well involved in New Zealand watersports, especially sailing. They are huge supporters of the Emirates Team and of keeping our coastlines safe so that these sports can continue for a very long time. During the week of our event in Auckland we will be carrying out three beach cleans on Saturday the 6th of March. We encourage the people of Auckland to come to one of the beach clean ups near them to help us in our vision for sustainable beaches in Aotearoa.

Takapuna

This clean up will take place on the 6th of March beginning at 10am. There will be between 50-100 volunteers joining us to ensure one of Auckland’s most iconic beaches is kept clean. This clean up will span from Takapuna foreshore to North Head.

Takapuna is a beautiful white sand beach on the Northshore of Auckland where Waterbourne will be based. This primo location is ideal for watersports and is one of Auckland's gems. Our event is 100% eco friendly with all rubbish being recyclable and sustainable. But to ensure this spot is left cleaner than when we first arrived we plan to carry out a thorough beach clean. We welcome volunteers of all ages and hope you will join us for our other festivities celebrating what Auckland has to offer.

Manukau

This clean up will take place on the 6th of March beginning at 10am. There will be between 50-100 volunteers joining us to ensure one of Auckland’s most iconic beaches is kept clean. This clean up will span from Manukau to ...
