Dave Dobbyn is one of New Zealand’s most iconic talents with an incredible reputation in the music industry. In his earlier career Dave was a member of the rock group Th’ Dudes and worked with pop band DD Smash. Since then Dave has skyrocketed as a solo performer gaining a large following for his Platinum soundtrack in the film Footrot Flats: A Dog’s Tale. The film resulted in two hit singles: ‘You oughta be in love’ and the chart topping ‘Slice of Heaven’. Beyond this he released two solo albums, ‘Loyal’ and ‘The Islander’ which reached number #1 on the New Zealand charts. Dave continued to produce critically acclaimed music with a later release of ‘Available Light’, ‘Anotherland’ and a ‘Greatest Hits’ album.  Dave has won numerous musical awards including being appointed as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to music.
