Paddle Boarding Obstacle Course - Auckland

There was nothing but happy faces at Takapuna beach during the Summer Days Festival. Over 10,000 spectators came along to the beach to enjoy live music and awesome activities for the whole family.

The Summer Days Festival was the first time the public had access to try the ‘Paddle Ninja Games’ where over 70 people attempted the ninja course! With people of all ages attempting the course, it was a day full of laughter, splashes and crashes!

With an absolutely gorgeous day on the cards, the beach quickly filled with swimmers and ocean lovers as they enjoyed the beach atmosphere. Flip flops and sunblock were a necessity as temperatures reached over 26degrees!

With an influx of new paddle boarders, our coaches from SUPWell NZ provided lessons for every entrant before they took on the all new ninja obstacle course.

While everyone enjoyed a day of paddling, Yamaha Marine and JetSport West provided all the necessary safety on the water. With ongoing monitoring of the area, our amazing safety team also kept an eye on the general public swimming in the area.

A huge congratulations for Nick as he managed to rescue a swimmer on his Yamaha Wave Runner as he noticed some kids calling for his help further down the beach. Leif continued to manage the ninja course whilst Nick raced over to the the swimmers in need!

So where will the Ninja Games be next?
